Level: Beginners / Beginners with experience

Beginning movement research through improvisation we warm up the body by generating our instinctive way of moving. We learn how to connect our senses to our physicality. We dive into basic technical elements of contemporary dance and into choreography! A great combination of improvisation, technical exercises and set choreography for movers who want to deepen their skills and broaden their understanding of physical expression.

Level: Handstand or movement experience

With the organic movement hand-balance-workshop we intensely but playfully confront our fears of being upside down and finding balance. Structured training and support enable you to build up a solid handstand. The physical practice, experiencing and understanding being upside-down takes the main part in this course. The workshop is designed for people who are handstand or movement experienced but still struggle to have easy 30-second-holds.

Level: Dancers / Movers / Performers / Bodyworkers

Desire and Sexuality are omnipresent in advertising, entertainment, and corporate capitalism in general, but the image presented of what is desired and desirable is often fairly far removed from most people’s authentic interests. Work as a professional dancer often involves encountering our own boundaries on a variety of levels. In this workshop, we will breathe, work somatically, and dive into scores based on our own desires and boundaries. David draws on years of working with dance & performance, as well as with conscious sexuality practices such as tantra and bdsm, in order to propose a safer space exploring a holistic approach to making art, that both draws from and affects our personal, social, and political realities. We will not go into physical contact, but rather explore how the space between informs desire in socially distant times.
