The class I will be giving is a ballet class with a contemporary edge to it,  based on ideas I developed while working with William Forsythe. There is  a focus on placement, energy, direction, and accessing the simplicity of ballet to describe space and time. Using a collage of music styles, from classical to electronic, the sonic accompaniment will reflect the richness of the ballet language.
My goals is to make ballet approachable to all and less scary than people think it is.
Ballet is a place of delicacy , mathematics, architecture and simply the joy of movement.
