Heidi’s international dance career spans more than 35 years. Stemming from an education and professional dance experience with top ballet companies in the US, she moved to Europe in 1996, where she embarked on a multifaceted career with Europe’s most prominent contemporary dance companies and educational institutions.
She’s grateful for all past collaborations with ground breaking choreographers, with a special appreciation to the works by William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin and Mari Kajiwara as well as Budo master Akiro Hino. They have created a lawless, yet safe space where she could explore the endless possibilities of the body, investigate creative process with depth and generate powerful listening skills.

Stemming from her extensive experiences, she has developed the StreamFlow movement method. It offers a mindful approach for dancers and anyone seeking a deeper connection with their bodies. Streamflow is a mindful, regenerating, game-like method to move attention through different parts of your body. Originally developed as a form of “body rescue” for dancers at professional companies across the world, now expanding the practice to work flexibly for all bodies. Through the last decades it has been integrated via workshops, company training and is the base for all of her choreographic projects.
