About Greywax Dance Company
The Greywax Dance Company is a dance and theatre ensemble based in Bern, Switzerland, founded in 2022 by Victor Rottier, Niki Anjes Stalder, and Melissa Kieffer. Driven by a shared passion for movement and dance theatre, the company is dedicated to creating works that reflect the diversity of human experience. With their varied backgrounds, the founders bring fresh perspectives and dynamic energy to their creations. In 2023, the company celebrated its stage debut in Bern with its first full-length production, «greywax 140», which was also performed in 2024 at Theater am Gleis in Winterthur and at the B12 Festival in Berlin. This was followed by the productions «Grain of Thought» (2024) and «Echoes of Applause» (2024), both produced and performed in Bern. In addition to its artistic work, Greywax is also strongly engaged in dance outreach and education. The company offers professional workshops for dancers and students of BA dance programs across Europe.
