05.–09.07.21, 20:15–21:45

Level: Beginners – Intermediate

Fee: 55€ / 13€ Drop-In

This class is based upon the introduction and consolidation of the contemporary dance technique passing through the freedom and research given by improvisation techniques and release sequences. Dancing is developed through the increased awareness of our bodies in all their limits and qualities, perfections and imperfections. Harmonizing coordination is one of the best descriptions I’ve heard about what dancing is. That is what we will try to do – adding fun and sweat to it all.

Alessandro graduated from the Rambert School in London and is now a freelancer developing interdisciplinary projects across Europe. He has been co-director of Impermanence Dance Theatre in Bristol (UK) for the past nine years, while also working on solo work presented at different festivals and cabaret stages internationally. He has started his career joining ITdansa in Barcelona and then moved to Holland to develop his choreographic skills. Here he took part in Random Collision and eventually found himself going back to the UK to establish his own company in Bristol. He has danced works ranging from Jiri Kylian to Ohad Naharin.
