Class Description

Her class blend diverse dance styles and knowledge with her own creative ideas, as we explore how dance can awaken the body and senses, opening new pathways for movement and expression. We begin with warm-ups—using isolation, improvisation, groove, plié, breath, and musicality—to gently awaken each part of the body, discover their connections, and invite freedom into the joints, then stretch to further open and prepare the body. In the middle of the class, we ground ourselves by exploring balance, axis, and the dialogue between the body’s weight and the floor. Then, moving across the space, we dive into dynamic combinations that challenge weight shifts and expand spatial awareness.
We end with choreography that merges structure, imagination, and technique, inviting students to refine precision while exploring their individuality, sensations, and nuances.
