Description

360° Movement for professional training focuses on cultivating a present, active, and versatile body. We will work on the fundamentals of floorwork and other contemporary dance techniques to build a solid foundation for mapping the body’s territory. Acrobatic tools will be used to integrate multiple directions, inhabit the backspace, and explore different levels, creating pathways to conceive the body in 360°. The practice combines a physical and technical approach, while also delving into guidelines designed to unlock states of maximum creativity in improvisation. A map of weights, tones, extensions, and rhythms will form the core of our exploration. The process will be approached both individually and collectively, fostering a space to explore and share ideas. Our goal is to open the gateway to the performative state, overcoming obstacles and deepening personal research within each participant.
