Class description
Welcome to Let it FLow, a class designed to explore the continuous and dynamic flow of energy within our bodies. This class invites you to connect deeply with the idea that movement is an ever-present force, flowing through us at all times. Through guided exercises and creative exploration, we will tap into this endless flow, allowing it to shape our movements and inspire our dance. In this class, we will delve into the sensation of energy in motion, experimenting with the ebb and flow of this energy as we dance. We’ll play with the dynamics of letting go, changing the tempo, and even intentionally blocking the flow to heighten our awareness and appreciation of its powerful return. By engaging with these concepts, you’ll discover new possibilities for movement and expression. Throughout the class, we’ll also work on learning choreographed phrases that help emphasize and solidify the skills and sensations we’ve explored during our improvisation. These phrases will serve as a foundation to integrate the fluidity of improvisation with the precision of set choreography, allowing you to fully experience the harmony between structured form and creative freedom. Let it Flow is a space for both individual exploration and collective experience. Whether you are new to dance or have years of experience, this class is open to anyone who is curious about movement and eager to discover the natural flow within their body. Come with an open mind, a playful spirit, and a willingness to explore the endless possibilities of movement. Let’s flow together—I can’t wait to see you there!
