Training for Dancers
Tim Neff started his ballet education at the State Ballet School of Berlin in 2008. He continued his studies at Dance Academy Zurich in 2013. In 2016 he joined Queensland Ballet under the direction of Li Cunxin. Tim returned to Berlin in 2017 and started working as a freelance dancer, ballet teacher and guest ballet master. He teaches company class at the Opera Ballet at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin and Aterballetto, Italy. Tim danced as guest with Theater Magdeburg, Opern Ballett Berlin and at the Opera de Monte carlo in Monaco.
He received his training to become a ballet teacher at Tanzoffensive Nettersheim.
The approach of my ballet class is to find the joy in dancing whilst improving yourself. To become the best version of ourselves _(Technique? Way of thinking?)_
The barre starts slow and has a simple set up to find your center. We move onto center exercises and start building onto what we have worked on at the barre, we expand on our technique when moving through the space. For jumps we begin with simple small jumps to prepare our bodies to jump faster and higher. I encourage dancers to use space and go beyond their limits and most importantly enjoy dancing whilst working on themselves.
