PROTEAN PROGRESSIONS led by Sherwood Chen
A protean progression of movements across the floor will develop kinesthetic, motor and sensorial awareness, scale and rhythm studies. These layered torrents will work individually and collectively to unfamiliarize our bodies and recognize them as dynamic, transformative environments, each body observed and welcomed as a total phenomenon in delicious corruption. Building out from Body Weather MB training with Sherwood’s specific attention to rhythm, dis/coordination, un-mastery and rapport with the floor, this training asks that we bring our curiosity, our inquisitive body, and prepare to sweat.
