Bio

Idan Yoav was trained at Patricia Needleman Dance Studio in Jerusalem, Graduated from the Academy High School for Music and Dance is Jerusalem. Studied Multidisciplinary Arts at the Tel-Aviv University, amongst Fashion Design at the Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee. Rewarded as an Outstanding Dancer by the Israeli Ministry of Culture, amongst 2nd prize at the Mia Arbatova Ballet Competition, Scholarships from the America-Israel Cultural Foundation for excellence in dance and was a member of DanceWeb program at the Impulstanz Dance Festival in Vienna, Austria. Danced with Sasha Waltz & Guests, Batsheva Ensamble, Inbal Pinto & Avshalom Polak Dance Company, Norrdans, Gallim Dance, Zuhkov Dance Theatre, De De Dance. A guest teacher at Tanzfabrik Berlin, Marameo Berlin, Chung-Ang University Seoul and Korea National University of Arts Seoul. Since 2009 has been choreographing and presented in several festivals.

Class Description

Letting GO!

Through improvisation we will tune in on our body awareness and enriching the connection to our inner rhythm.
Working with different music genres from classical through pop and electronic, we will discover our groove and let it free.This open class – workshop session is open for all levels.
