Training for Dancers


Born in Bilbao, Spain, Elvis Val trained and graduated from the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany. His engagements include Victor Ullate Ballet in Madrid (1999-2001), and as a soloist in Staatstheater Wiesbaden (2001-2007) and in Staatsoper Hannover (2007-2015). He has performed works by, William Forsythe, Johan Inger, Nacho Duato, Stijn Celis, George Balanchine, Inbal Pinto, Mauro Bigonzetti, Hans Van Manen, John Neumeier, Niels Christie, Claude Brumachon, John Cranko, Auguste Bournonville, Victor Ullate among others.

Elvis Val works as guest ballet teacher for Staatsballett Berlin, Ballet de l´Opera de Lyon, Alonso King Lines Ballet, National Theatre Mannheim, Poznan Opera House, Béjart Ballet Lausanne, Basel Ballet, Aterballetto, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatstheater Gärtnerplatz, Anhaltisches Theater Dessau, Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company,Thüringer Staatsballett, Marameo, Dock 11, among others. In 2018 he was awarded the Dance Pedagogy title at “Tanzloft” (Berlin) with Honors.
