Bio

Cecilia Bartolino is an Italian dancer and choreographer. She started dancing at five and, at eighteen, moved to Germany to train at the Iwanson Contemporary Dance School. After graduating, she joined the Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company’s Masa in Israel and later worked as a freelance dancer in Tel Aviv.

Now based in Berlin, Cecilia focuses on expanding her artistic voice, exploring new choreographic ideas, and creating work that uses dance as a form of expression and empowerment.

She has worked with artists such as Romeo Castellucci and Wang Ramirez, and in 2022, she co-founded the company “Carlos Aller & Cecilia Bartolino”. Together, they have toured across Europe with their own original creations.

Class description

Cecilia Bartolino’s class brings together her years of experience across ballet, Gaga, contemporary, floorwork, and urban dance. It’s a blend of styles, but also a space for you to explore how movement can be personal, expressive, and deeply physical.
In class, you’ll work with guided improvisation, physical tasks, and set material, all aimed at helping you discover new movement qualities and push your boundaries. Cecilia shares the textures and experiences she’s gathered throughout her journey, not just to teach a sequence, but to open pathways for your own research and movement development.
The goal isn’t just to learn, but to connect, to your body, your instincts, your presence. The class is both training and exploration, a space where what you find can grow into your own way of moving.
