Training for Dancers

Bio

I was born in Italy in 1994. My professional education was at La Scala Ballet Theatre Academy. My work experience includes working with La Scala Theatre from 2013-2014. I danced mostly classical repertoire like Swan Lake, Raymonda, Nutcracker, and 2014 Balletto del Sud Company, and for some productions, 2015-2018 with Ballett Magdeburg. Furthermore, I danced neo-classical parts like Stabat Mater, Wahlverwandschaften and many classical ballets ( Le Corsaire, Sleeping Beauty, Romeo and Juliet, Coppelia), and in 2019, I danced Onegin in Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Class Description

The class is quite technical and focuses on the pure and clean execution of the steps. Musicality plays a fundamental role and if used correctly can lead to a stronger technique. The barre is quite simple and placed with alternating accents to get the body warm and aligned for the center work. There might be combination parts taken from the classical repertoire so the dancers can also learn some part of it.
