Bio

Mina Skenderija is a ballet teacher and guest ballet mistress with an international background as a dancer and educator. Born in Belgrade, she trained at the State Ballet Academy and the John Cranko School in Stuttgart. Her professional career included engagements with Stuttgart Ballet, Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf, Friedrichstadt-Palast Berlin, and Aalto Ballet Theatre Essen, performing works by choreographers including John Neumeier, Hans van Manen, William Forsythe, Mauro Bigonzetti and others.

In 2010, she completed her master’s degree in dance education and was appointed Lecturer of Classical Dance at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden under Jason Beechey.

Today, she is running a Ballet and Pilates studio and works internationally as a teacher and guest ballet mistress, including at Theater Dortmund, Theater Hagen, Theater Kiel, Staatsoperette Dresden, Architanz Tokyo, and regularly serves on juries at international dance competitions.

Her teaching combines Vaganova technique with extensive stage experience, focusing on precision, musicality, dynamics, artistic expression, and individual development.
