Bio
Shaked Heller is a freelance artist based in Berlin with a professional background in both classical and contemporary dance. His career has included Ballett Zürich, Stuttgarter Ballett, and Staatsballett Berlin, where he danced as a Demi-Soloist. In 2026, he worked with La Veronal for a production at Bunkamura.
He trained at Thelma Yellin School of the Arts in Israel and was part of the Batsheva Dance Company Excellence Project, before continuing his studies at the Kirov Academy of Ballet in Washington, D.C.
Class Description
In his teaching, Shaked is particularly interested in exploring balance through the freedom of the breath and a conscious, active use of the feet. He sees these as important foundations for a strong and connected technique, while allowing the body to remain responsive and free.
He also brings imagery, imagination, and a sense of fantasy into his classes, using pictures and different ways of imagining movement to help dancers connect with their bodies and discover their own understanding of the movement.
