Workshop Description

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to dive deep into the weissmann technique.
If you are considering joining our teacher training, this is a perfect chance to experience it first hand. Led by Jennifer and Heidi, the workshop lays the groundwork for weissmann technique, by navigating the many layers of the artist-physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. The body and mind are prepared through a concious beginning and a clearly mapped class structure. Principles of the WMT will be unpacked and broken down to help dancers find greater efficiency and clarity in their contemporary technique.
Elements of yoga, improvisation are also explored and you will receive detailed feedback on your dancing.
Most importantly, the workshop takes place in a joyful and uplifting environment, supported by inspiring music and passionate instruction.

About the Teachers

Jennifer and Heidi are experienced teachers who have been dedicated to contemporary dance for over 25 years. They bring explosive energy and a deep passion for movement to every class they teach. Well known within the Berlin dance scene and internationally, they are recognized for their inspirational and motivational teaching style. With skill, sensitivity, and a strong commitment to creating a positive and supportive atmosphere, they challenge dancers to step beyond their comfort zones and discover new artistic and physical possibilities.
